Hunter Corps

The Hunter Corps in a grouping of unusual, irregular and specialised forces. They are usually deployed as individual regiments to troublesome regions and often specialise in dealing with rebellion, police actions and political insurrections. Their regiments are often extremely under strength and it would often be hard to bring them up to higher strength because of their specialised nature.

The Corps was founded by the Emperor Artifex to deal with the Solgil-gal Mind Eaters and proved effective in dealing with situations where regular units were too inflexible to be used. The Emperor Militarus gave the Corps the remit to hunt down all enemies of the Empire both within and outside the borders. Argentus has tripled the Corps' budget and given them even more independence in counter insurgency operations and they are heavily involved in resisting the spread of the White Moon movement. The command of the corps is a shadowy organisation based in Doblian.
